All About Aggression in Cats Conference – On Demand
Most animal lovers can agree, aggression is perfectly normal in situations where animals are trying to protect themselves, their family, resources, and more. However, when such motivations can’t be easily identified in our companion pets, it is commonly assumed that the aggressive behaviors are abnormal or even vindictive. This is especially pronounced among companion cats who tend to be misunderstood anyway. When we see aggression from cats, is typically considered more as a problem for the humans that needs to end, and less as a problem for the cat itself that needs to be understood. Aggression among cats is becoming a more common concern in relation to behavior consulting, relinquishment to animal shelters, and behavioral euthanasia.
In response, Hippocampus Online is proud to present the All About Aggression in Cats Conference! This two-day event is packed full of content specific to cat aggression and is being presented by six different leaders in the feline behavior world. Though more targeted to behavior consultants, the content of this event is also appropriate for anyone looking to better understand aggression in companion cats, such as veterinary or rescue personnel, pet sitters, dog pros, and cat lovers.
